Edward O. Owens is the CEO of The Owens Companies, a 3rd generation, family-owned business specializing in transportation, logistics and real estate investment. As CEO, he helps oversee the strategic direction of the company as well as long-term initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Edward earned his bachelor's degree from Northeastern University. He currently serves as a trustee of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and has been active in several charitable and civic activities. He is a former Trustee of Northeastern University and former Board Member of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, Museum of Fine Arts, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Cambridge Boy Scouts, New England Minority Purchasing Council, Cambridge YMCA, and Advisory Board Member to Liberty Mutual.

Edward O. Owens, Jr. is President of The Owens Companies. As president, he is responsible for all the company's financial functions, including accounting, auditing, and corporate finance. His career spans more than 20 years in financial management.
Edward, Jr. holds a master’s degree in accounting from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration. Prior to joining The Owens Companies, he served in various corporate accounting roles for TripAdvisor and LogMein and in a public accounting role with Deloitte. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Massachusetts and serves as a board member for East Cambridge Savings Bank and Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation.
